A Royal Wedding

The Swedish crown princess weds her dear Daniel tomorrow and I'm gonna be a part of the procession after the ceremony in the church. We are about 500 scouts that are going to stand along the road where Victoria and Daniel will pass in a carriage (dragged by horses with horse shoes made of aluminum that is supposed to look as silver) and salute them in the way scouts do best - by doing the scout salute!
I got inspired and made a wedding card with lots of flowers.

Also joining the blog hop and entering my card for the s2g Paper Crafting Contest. The twist was to use something old. I've used green string that is really old. I originally bought it in 1999 when I made a stole with embroideries for my father (he's a priest).

Have a Bright Merry Christmas!

This is a christmas card in different colours... I've combined different challenges just to see where it goes... And I think it's kind of funky and cute. It's a bit confusing and I'm not sure if it is my paper with the golden swirls or if it is the striped paper... But I can live with that. What really bothers me is that my Embossing Pen left a blue colour on the stamp after I'd heated the embossing powder with my new heat gun. I have no idea why? Any ideas and tips?

I've used papers from Emma's Garden from Panduro and Mimosa Christmas Angel stamp from Bildmalarna. The bell is from a chocolate bunny I ate this easter!

Cupe Cake Craft Challenges this week has a button-challenge. I'm not sure if my "button" counts. I didn't have any buttons in the right colours except a brad that looks like a button... Not sure if that disqualifies me then?

Roses on Paper Challenge Blog has a colour challenge this week; yellow, pink and orange. And my Mimosa Christmas Angel is bought from Bildmalarna.

S2G's challenge this week is to use a ribbon. I've used two. :)

Sketch and Stash Challenge had a funny sketch this week. Looks like this:
Susie & Vikki's Christmas Club Challenge #16 is to use Jingle Bells.

The ABC Challenge this week was U is for Unused Stash. And since I've just started my cardmaking carrier, this was really simple. I haven't used my Mimosa stamp before, or my golden swirly paper.

And finally, Sweet Sampin' Challenge Blog has a colour combo; yellow, green, orange and pink.

My First Easel Cards...

These are my first easel cards. Never tried to make them before, and I must say that my first three tries are a bit... well, they are not my best cards ever. It was easier than I thought but I don't like the size of the cards, since I made three from one 12"x12" paper. So they are about 10x10cm.

This card is made with papers from DCWV's Animal Crackers Stack. I really like the hippo that I've cut from one of the papers. The text says "thanks" and it's made by my new EMBOSS Dual Pen from Tsukineko and black embossing powder from Ranger Ink. My first try with black embossing powder and the powder got everywhere. Even in my keyboard for my computer... :/
This is also my entry for the ABC Challenge blog where T is for Thank You this week.
This is my second easel card. This card is for the Daring Cardmakers challenge this week. They asked me to make an easel card and dared me to make it like a shape. Again with the black embossing powder that made my pink elephant really messy... :(

And here is my last easel card where I got to try my new stamp from Bildmalarna. Cannot remember what the strawberry paper is called but it is from Panduro.

You're A Tweet-Heart

My first entry to a challenge blog - before I started to publish my cards on my blog.
I cannot really remember what papers I've used, but I think that it's Emma's Garden from Panduro. I know it's from Panduro at least. :)
The stamp is from Hero Arts.

Whoo loves you?

Another card for another challenge. This time it's for the Sweet Stampin' Challenge. The challenge this week was a real challenge for me. A set of colours (Krat, Not Quite Navy, Bashful Blue and Pretty in Pink) was presented and the challenge was to create a card with at least three of these colours.

I chose Krat, Not Quite Navy (which was "Not Navy At All") and Pretty in Pink (or just Pink...). I guess I would have been better of choosing Bashful Blue instead of trying to find Not Quite Navy among my papers... But it is all done now. I went for a simple card with no extras on. Much needed after that Christmas Card Challenge...
I've used stamps from Hero Arts. They are called CL 309- Whoo Loves You? I've used the Fiskars Edge Puncher Threading Water and for the heart I've used the Fiskars Ultra ShapeXpress with the template called Mixed Shapes and Mixed Borders. Really took a while before I got a hang of the ShapeXpress, but now I'm growing to love it.
Have a nice evening now! Over and out!
